The sophisticated supercar is back. Smart Luxury. With the 2015 Acura NSX concept car, Acura continues to move in a refined direction.
The original NSX came out in 1990 and it was the world’s first supercar designed as a daily driver. Unlike most supercars, the NSX was known for its good manners.
The original engine, a 270-horsepower V-6, was able to deliver supercar performance while keeping an eye on fuel consumption – 22 miles per gallon highway. The next-gen design is said to be powered by gasoline-electric hybrid technology.
Let’s hope Acura produces the 2015 NSX concept car and continues the legacy of the world’s daily driver supercar. Smart, luxury, sophistication – Acura.
